What better place and time to talk “cherries,” than early spring at the Willowwood Arboretum, whose own Cherry collection is outstanding and (depending on Mother Nature) in bloom!

Lilacs: An Old Fashioned Plant for Modern Gardens

Lilacs fill the Willowwood Arboretum and their fragrance surrounds you when they are in bloom - usually from end April through early June.

Mark April 25 on your calendar at the Willowwood Arboretum for a 10 am Lecture by Marc Zukovich, President of Sterling Horticultural Services, talk about the different varieties of this lovely plant, how to prune them for the best blooms and their care and feeding. Then take a stroll through the collection.

20th Anniversary 'Lilac Party', Sunday, May 17

Plan to attend this very special '20th Anniversary' Lilac Party. More details on this lovely garden party will be forthcoming but definitely plan to listen to The Ten and enjoy a Spring Artisan wine tasting by 56 degree wine. Peruse a Silent Auction filled with unusual plants. Listen to the magical melodies of Carlos Cuestas, Classical Guitarist. Plus a few other surprises are planned as well. For information, please call 908-234-1815 and leave a message.
