Maggie Rapp

Following a formative education learning the art of decorative painting at the Isabel O' Neil Studio in New York, Maggie has woven her talents as a decorator, flower arranger and Decorating Chairperson for gala's atAlbrook Montessori School, The Willow School and Gill St. Bernards.


In 2001 Maggie opened Changing Colors, LLC, in Chester NJ as a decorative painting business specializing in faux finishes, murals, venetian plaster and the "Art of the Painted Finish" for furniture painting. Since its establishment, Changing Colors, LLC has become a multi-interest business focusing on interior decorating and home esthetics. Changing Colors, LLC also operates as a business specializing in "living centerpieces" and floral arrangements that are designed to be long lasting and low maintenance. Under Maggie's guidance, the focus is on selling handmade items and leading hands-on workshops to make something beautiful.


Prior to moving to the area, Maggie lived in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. While living in Lawreneville Maggie served as President of the Lawrenceville Women's Club from 2003-2005 and also served on the board of Lawrenceville Main Street from 2003-2005. In addition, Maggie remains active as President and Council Member of the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. A role she has remained active in since 2018. The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History was founded in 1994 to promote the study and interest in American history and serves teachers, students, scholars, and the general public.


Maggie resides in Chester, New Jersey with her husband and children and has called the area home for the last 17 years. She is an avid gardener of their two acre property where she cultivates a pool garden, a cut flower garden, hydrangea hedge, peony garden and a small organic vegetable garden. In addition she added a small studio for canvas painting, furniture painting, silk screening and other various artistic projects.

Willowwood Foundation seeks to advance knowledge, appreciation, and conservation of plant life and ecosystems at Willowwood Arboretum through curated botanical collections, educational programs, research initiatives, community collaboration and stewardship.
